What’s going on in there?

I started feeling our girl move over Christmas and Michael was able to feel small kicks mid January. Ever since then, we have been trying to imagine what she is doing in there. Here are our predictions:

-Break dancing

-Karate class

-Back handsprings

-River dance

-Playing the floor piano like in “Big”

-Jazzercise

-Jumping jacks

-Rockette’s kick-line

-Smashing grapes Lucy and Ethel style

-Speed round on a punching bag

-Wax on, wax off, paint the fence

-Trampoline

-Pedaling an invisible bike

-Audition dance from “A Chorus Line”

-Mountain climbers

-“That’s why they call me Thumper!”

-Cannonballs

-Stomping bubble wrap like Andy in The Office

-“Bladder check” (like a brake check)

-Bungee jumping using the umbilical cord

-“Let’s hear it for the Y M C A”

-Tap dancing

While I may complain when she squishes my bladder or decides to practice her Broadway debut at 3am, I wouldn’t trade these experiences for anything in the world. Each kick, punch, and body roll is a reminder that she is safe and alive. She is strong and already feisty. I can’t wait to meet our little wiggle worm.
