Oh, Christmas Tree

Every year I have a second tree that is all ocean themed. When I saw these remembrance ornaments, I knew they were perfect.  The sand dollar is the 2021 version saying, “Remembered with love.” It is for my Poppy who we lost in August that year. The oyster is the 2022 ornament saying, “A life worth celebrating.” That one is for my Hawthorn who we lost in May this year. (Named after the birth flowers for those months)

While I did not carry them for long at all, I do remember those moments with love and feel they are absolutely worth celebrating. I am glad they have ornaments in a high place of honor on my tree this year and all the years to come. 👼🏻🤍👼🏻
