Hysteroscopy and Plan

I had my procedure on November 14th. It turns out that I had a polyp. They removed it and did biopsies of different parts. All of the biopsy results were normal except for the polyp itself. It had something called plasma cells which can indicate an infection or something, but because it wasn't anywhere else, it should be fine. I'll stay on birth control temporarily while I wait for my next appointment with SGF.

November 24th not only brings Thanksgiving, but HORRIBLE cramps and my period. The cramps last days and just feel like my insides are tearing in half. To top it off, I am having more "bathroom episodes" filled with cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, and near fainting. What the heck is going on!

I met with my doctor on December 14th. He said that the polyp could have prevented implantation the past 3 cycles, but is not the reason for my losses. I also asked about endometriosis again. My symptoms seem to continue growing worse each month. He said that since it seems to be impacting my quality of life, it might be a good idea. We decided to start back up after the new year. I would do 1 or 2 IUIs and if needed, schedule an appointment with an endometriosis specialist and get that taken care of. I feel good about this plan right now. I feel listened to and like my opinions have value. Hopefully this will be the right path to parenthood.
