I had no intentions of buying a piece of jewelry in memory of my angel baby, but a particular ring kept popping up on my newsfeed. It is a birth flower ring so I looked at them and thought they were nice, but I wasn’t 100% sure. My due date was April so I thought that would be the flower I should get- a daisy. But I decided to look at August as that was my lost date and new right away I wanted it.

August’s flower is a poppy. The moment I got pregnant, I put it in my app and it announced “Your baby is the size of a poppy seed!” That week I talked to it “in my head” and kept calling it my little poppy seed. Unfortunately my little poppy seed never grew bigger than that- forever my little poppy seed. So when I saw August was a poppy, I knew it was meant to be.
